@MusicMatters I’ll add my 2 bits, FWIW. I also stream from Qobuz and play files back locally from the K50. The Qobuz streams sound VERY good. My guesstimate is they are ~ 90% of the quality of local playback. But if you do an A/B playback comparison of the same recording from either source, the local playback always sounds the best to me. – David

I don’t know if you read my posts in the “Is K40 Discontinued” thread, but I went into some detail on A/B comparisons, Qobuz versus local files served up by MinimServer. If you didn’t have a chance yet, you will probably find of interest. The fun part of this hobby for me besides enjoying great music playback is the fact that I am always learning new technology - and learning from others. Cheers!!
