Antipodes CX won't turn on

Yesterday there was a power outage in my city. I had the CX switched on (I wasn’t listening to music at the time). I disconnected the electrical panel just in case. This morning I reconnected the power, but the CX does not turn on. The amber light is on, but when I press the power button it does not blink or turn green; it doesn’t respond. What could have happened?

Did you try to switch the CX off with the switch on the backpanel? Wait for 30 seconds and turn it on. Then perhaps try to press the amber button again. It might work. Best of luck.

Possible fuse has blown, the fuse block is located at the IEC power inlet, flip open the door and remove the fuse block, check fuses, replace, ensure the correct voltage is displayed in the window.

I already tried it and it didn’t work. Thank you very much.

Does that mean they’re directional? How do I know which way the fuse points? I now have some HiFi Tuning speakers with an arrow, but the generic ones I had originally didn’t have an arrow.

The direction doesn’t matter as far as getting your CX to turn on again.

Directionality is mentioned in the first post in this thread from Mark Cole. Just read the grey area in full.

Mark, I have changed the fuses (I put back the original ones instead of the HiFi Tuning fuses) and it still doesn’t work. I would appreciate it if you could send me an image of the fuse holder with the fuse inserted, so I can check whether I installed it the same way. Thank you.

Didn’t the OP mention that the amber light is showing?
So power is getting to the unit so the mains fuse is ok?

Everything seems to be in order. Furthermore, a green light is visible inside (as always).

After rechecking the fuses without success, I opened the CX to check for any loose wires. Everything seemed fine. I switched the hard drive to the other slot, but that didn’t help either.

I think something inside broke. If the power supply fails, I suppose neither the amber nor the green light inside would be visible.

It’s a shame, nothing lasts forever.

The dialer I bought the CX from no longer works with Antipodes. I don’t know what to do in this situation. I don’t know what solution or advice Antipodes can offer. Thanks.

If you have changed the fuses and the unit will still not power on, then service is required.
