Cannot remove SSD from K50 drive

I just replaced my K50 with the Oladra and I cannot remove the SSD from the K50 to insert in the Oladra. It is somewhat difficult to get a good hold on it and I was wondering if there is another way to remove it.

Yep, it’s difficult. I found out that there’s a little metal tool they include in the K50 box with prongs on it… That’s to remove the HD. But I just used a pair of pliers. :stuck_out_tongue:

I thought I was alone in not being able to remove the Hard Drive from my K21 :flushed::joy:

Interesting, not upgrading yet but thought about ssd replacement. Is it difficult to say remove from dx3 to whatever model other than physically. Can we just pop one hard drive with latest roon and amsv from one machine to another?

It is easy to remove the SSD with the tool. Since the SSD was already formatted I just inserted into the Oladra and Roon just added the music to my library.
