I am trying to rip a cd to my k50 and it repeatedly gets to pre caching cover art and then stops. Samsung se so84 writer. Is this writer, k50 or internet problem.
Could be the CD, have you tried other discs?
I appears that the device requires power from 2x USB ports

I have ripped cds successfully as recently as 2 weeks ago. Tried again with a previously ripped cd and the Samsung did not recognise it . Sometimes it just stops, sometimes ejects cd without completing rip.I will order an asus ripper as previously recommended by yourself.
