But somehow there no results under “unidentified albums”

I can see the used storage of the ssd went up but it went down again after rebooting the oladra, like nothing happens.

I tried to use another USB port / another disc (both can’t be identified) but same result.

Any input is highly appreciated.

UPDATE 01/05: Today I tried another CD and I’m pretty sure the meta-data for this release is available online but the same result so the suspect is more obvious and should be the backend service. Hopefully @MarkCole can shed some lights on this.

Is this CD a new release? It looks like it was unable to determine what the album was. This can happen when no one else has ripped it yet. Or it could be that the backend service is down so it can’t retrieve any data.

You can try another disc just to make sure everything is working.

Edit: I just noticed another user posted with a similar issue. That likely means the backend service is down. It will come back.

Hi Kenny,

thanks for your reply.

based on previous experience, even there’s no meta-data applied to the release, there will always ripped files that can be accessed via the “unidentified album” folder but not this time and yeah I just realized there’s another member encountered similar issue with ripping but I feel like he’s still able to access the files? I’m not sure (Update: after re-reading his issue, I’m sure we’re facing the same issue as his ripped files are under “.tmp” folder which should be hidden by default). My case is that the folder is empty after the ripping. I tried 3 different CDs which were released in 2013, 2022 and 2024 respectively.

I’ll wait for a few days and try to rip one of them again and see.

The same happens with my k50, I reported it on this forum many months ago and Mark Cole replied to contact the assistance service. But the assistance service here in Italy is only available during the night hours and in addition the k50 is not in the house.

So the issue persists on your K50?

Hello All,

I have exactly the same issue with my K41 G4.
It stopped getting meta-data on Januari 1st at about 5:00 PM (Amsterdam/Europe).
I’ve send an email to Antipodes and received a quick response from Mark Cole.
Mark advised me to book a support session in order to upgrade to AMSv5.0.1 because there is an update for the ripper in v5.0.1
My session is booked for next monday.
I will let you know if this helped.

Regards,
Marco

There is another thread on this…

The Meta Data provider is currently down, we are working with the provider to rectify this issue.
