I am using a Chord Company M6 PowerHAUS mains block. I also have a Chord Company Sarum T feeding it from my wall outlet.
My thoughts are it’s a superb power block and it genuinely has made an improvement with all my source and preamp components feeding of it.
Also have ATC speakers, but I have those coming out of dedicated wall outlets.
The point that I’m trying to make/ask is, Antipodes have made it known that Antipodes products- to perform at their best sound quality wise- is to have a dedicated wall mains to feed them.
I have run out of room wall outlet wise and I was thinking would my Chord Company M6 PowerHAUS block be a good match for the K22 G4 that I have coming and will get next week sometime ?
Or will getting another mains power wall outlet or two be the way to go for maximum sound quality ?
Just give it a try. Many of us with Antipodes use a Puritan psm 156 with individual filters.
As I understand the Chord is more like a Furutech and also good to power amps and focusses on clean earth and is designed also particular for Naim equipment that, as far as I know, has a strict earth policy (their source only connects to earth). The Chord doesn’t isolate the outlets from each other like some Puritans. The Antipodes connects to earth and is a source so it might work, but I am not sure.
I just have a chaeper Puritan psm136 but it works well with my s30/60 and all other digital stuff, even a 1000W dsp power amp for the woofers. My main “analog” power amp only works well on a dedicated conditioner (Dillenhofer dss nz 4000).
Thanks for that, I have emailed Puritan and asked if they can supply AUS power outlets on their products.
In the meantime I have plugged the K22 into the first outlet of the PowerHAUS from the mains cable inlet direction, as that is the usually the best feed.
