Component help please

hi, im looking at going from my oladra into one of these (so that i can have multiple devices i.e. turntable, tv audio etc. connect to the only 1 AES input on my active speakers).

It appears that this unit allows AES to pass through largely untouched - so the question is whether i am going to lose a lot of the oladra magic by going through such a unit?

If this device doesn’t pass the signal untouched, then there is of course a risk of fidelity loss. The question would then be, would you even notice? It might depend on what’s meant by “largely untouched”. But, I think you’d have to listen to it.
