I’ve known Mark Cargill for nigh on a quarter of a century. I’ve purchased equipment from him when he owned Connoisseur Audio which finished due to a period of illness. Through Audio Emotion which he still part owns, but which is run by his brother Gary & through Elite Audio. I’ve never received anything other than absolutely fantastic service. Despite having previously owned quite a lot of Absolute Sounds distributed equipment from the likes of Krell, Audio research, Sonus Faber, Transparent audio, Siltech etc I’ve always found them to lack the personal touch which I personally value very highly. I’ve also directed a considerable amount of business Marks way over the years from friends & once again they’ve never received anything other than absolutely sterling service. Nowadays I rarely ever deal with anyone else & had Elite Audio not become at least a dealer once again I’d probably have put my K50 up for sale. I certainly wouldn’t be interested in having to deal directly with Absolute Sounds for any servicing etc.
