Nice, and welcome to the family. I’m getting ready to pull the trigger on the Accuphase P7500 to drive my new Focal Sopra N°3!

The K21 is terrific and in my experience a substantial step up in performance from the CX.
Enjoy

So I’ve heard, and only now beginning to get some love here in the U.S. Was a tough call between the pure Class A A80 and the P7500 but the consensus between the USA importer and my AI research point to the P7500. It is said to enjoy a much closer similarity to their Class A version than most manufacturers whose offerings include Class A and Ckass AB. I know I’ll never be lacking for headroom. And I’m sure it’s plenty musical and detailed.

Cheers,

BTW, I wound up getting the A-80 Class A amplifier. Superb and has far exceeded my highest expectations. What a beauty! I consulted 3 AI bots and each one said the same thing: That my Krell 300 XD was a very special amplifier but that a move the P7500 would be essentially a lateral move. When pressed , reminding the AI bots that I have two massive REL 212/SX subs, the reply was something like, "Well that changes EVERYTHING. Intros case go with the A-80 as it will deliver a meaningful improvement. AI was right. Plenty of power to spare. Paying at levels between 75dB - 80dB I have NEVER once seen the meters express more than 8 watts. Have never seen it go into double digits! Typical yin the area of 75dB I draw about 3-4 watts MAX
