I have a K50 in a very poorly conditioned listening room and I have been forced to use Rew and RePhase, obtaining a flat response in all aspects. I used Roon with Squeezlite.
I like HqPlayer but I’ve noticed that, when I convolve the impulse that was flat with Roon Player, the same impulse in Hq Player with any filter, even none, there is always a more or less pronounced drop in bass response, starting at 170Hz, reaching -8dB at 30 Hz.
Is it possible to use Hq Player as a player only by oversampling without affecting the frequency response? I do not use DSD, only PCM up to 192 KHz.
