Hi guys, the HQP on my S40 has the max volume stuck at -3. Any other max volume setting works when setting volume lower than -3, but anything over -3 doesn’t. Meaning I cannot set it to 0 for example.
Also, the volume is always fixed, as I cannot change the volume even if the Fixed volume setting is disabled.
What do you have min volume set to?
Weird. Did you try restarting HQPlayer?
Yeah very strange. Restart doesn’t help.
I would try getting help in the HQPlayer thread on Audiophile Style. That’s where the experts hang out.

Are you restarting HQPlayer or the S40, have you tried rebooting the S40?
I tried both without success.
Book a session wioth the tech team who can take a look:

Prince got it fixed by reinstalling the HQplayer to a newer version. The volume was somehow stuck even though the xml config looked fine, probably an old HQP bug.
