I am confused about which version of the K22 I actually have

Greetings!

What set me off on this question first was that the LED on the K22 is different from the LED on the K41. The K22’s LED is substantially fainter and more yellow-ish green. Please see photo number one.

Then someone suggested that maybe the K 22 is actually a G3 and not the G4 I purchased and I looked into that, and the product carton shows it’s a G4 (image no 2) and the serial number matches the serial number in the unit, but on the other hand the feet on the K22 are all black (image no 3) and not featuring the blue layer that I understand the G4 model has or should have (per image no four).

So I don’t know what’s going on with the feet and the LED and I’m wondering if someone can help me sort this out.

Did you purchase this new, and when did you purchase it, if you don’t mind me asking? Regardless of whether it is actually a G3 or a G4 if it doesn’t match the spec then I would only assume that something’s gone awry. I’m pretty new to Antipodes, so I don’t know enough to speculate on what could have happened. Definitely enough there that I would book a support session. I’d be curious to know if you ever get to the bottom of things, though.

Hello!

Antipodes confirmed that the unit is a G4.

They said that over the past six months they have used all-black feet w/o the blue layer.

They also explained that LEDs can vary in color and intensity based on when the unit is built and which batch of LEDs they are then currently using.
