In sound quality terms, how does a K22 compare with a S30/S60/S20? Vastly superior or subtle differences?

If you are talking about a G4 K22, then the answer is vastly superior.
If you are talking about a G3 K22, then it is superior.

The K22 has an updated reclocker for Digital output, the G4 has the isolated, regenerated, reclocked USB.
