Looking for advice on best connection method when using Roon. Currently it defaults to network.
An Ethernet connection is optimal, as recommended by dCS.
My K41 is connected to my Rossini Apex DAC via Ethernet, and I couldn’t be happier with how it sounds.
EDIT: I do use Roon, but only when listening to DSD 256 files, which I downsample in Roon to DSD 128 (along with many other owners of dCS kit, I’m hoping that dCS will enable DSD 256 playback in the near future).
The vast majority of my listening is UPnP (MinimServer 2), using the dCS Mosaic app to access files on my K41.

Many thanks. Currently I use Roon from 4Tb drive. Before K50 I was using a Nucleus + which was unreliable and now not supported.
