K50 usb out and dac

Hi would like to know if I’m using the K50 with a dac would the dac be the player?

Would like the dac to be the endpoint on roon.

Would be connected via USB

You could chose from among 3 players: Roon, Squeeze and HQPlayer.

I have a K30, but this page is similar for the K50. I have chosen HQPlayer as the Player as I listen to Roon presently. My DAC is connected via USB.
