“My Antipodes” can not find server even though it is found on “Set” and available.
Why and how do I correct this problem in “My Antipodes”?
Hi there, are you using the link from our website for Setup…
Have you rebooted everything, that’s the Antipodes, router/switch and your remote device.
We have Android and iOS apps for myantipodes.
Failing that book a support session with our team…
Thanks Mark.
Yes on rebooting and even disconnect and reconnect all the way to the ISP modem.
It should be noted that my ISP did shut down service for a few hours after midnight 2 days ago and will again this week in early morning hours. I will wait until they’re through whateve maintenance on fiber before insuring it’s not on IPS before scheduling a support with you.
My server is ‘found’ but not indicating that - so I’m OK as can use - just incorrect message from ‘My Antipodes’ . Thanks again
This happened for me, but was resolved by using the ‘Setup Your Antipodes’ link above. I had bookmarked a previous version, it seemed, with a different address, which no longer worked. With the above link everything was fine.
Thank you RDG
To me, all appears OK in SETUP.
I will wait fot ISP to finish their fiber maintenance then schedule a Support session.
I hope this is the right place to insert my question.
Was using a Mac Mini Mojave. It saw my CX and K21 (borrowed) and the files on it. I could play music in two rooms, as well as watch movies in another room. All was well. In preparation of upgrading from Mojave to Catalina, I used time machine to back up most important files (Dang!)
“Upgrade” from Mojave to Catalina didn’t take because unbeknownst to me there were corrupted files (too much extraneous information?)
Upgraded to an M4 Mac Mini.
M4 sees both servers at myantipodes.com. But, I get the message:
"Unable to connect
Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at ..*.**.
The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the web."
I have rebooted both servers. I have loaded “Setup Your Antipodes” and that page sees both servers, still. But, I get the same “Unable to connect” message.
What to do?

Apple Relay is not enabled.
Mark:
I’m the same person as K21CXer (computer crashed, emails and passwords are scrambled along, apparently, with my brain)
