Failed to get upgrade from software manager to 3.1 still 2.7 but noticed this conflict of my DX description. Which do I own dx1 or dx3, is this a software manager problem, or is this effecting my upgrade?

There is no conflict, you have a DX3, with v2.7 software, Roon version D1.
It is likely that the Antipodes update trigger is not on your device, I can remote in and set this for you, please follow the instructions here for me to gain remote access.
