Roon/Squeeze internal S30 Dac

Dear all, a nerdy question, but strange Things happrn. I have an antipodes S30 just beeing Player. I connected my chord Mojo 2 to Test wether I hear a difference to the S30 internal Dac. Yes, it Sounds different and I think a little better (at least to me). But now to the question. I cannot Switch Back an forth between internal Dac and Mojo anymore when I use Squeeze. It worked Sometime, I could Change the setting in the Antipodes and Roon recognized it. But recently, I Just can use the internal Dac with the Roon Player and Not with Squeeze anymore. Roon does not recognize the Squeeze/internal Dac setting anymore (Just the Squeeze/Mojo). i rebooted, removed the USB cable, everything. Furthermore, I have Sometimes with the Mojo2 Background noise. I’m Not Sure whether I messed Up some internal Parameters/Settings :smirk:.
Maybe someone kows what’s going on, or what I souldn’t do again

When you say internal DAC, this is only accessed if using the ANALOG output of the S30.
If you are connecting a USB DAC then the DAC is the external.
If you are using the S30 as a PLAYER only then this relies on there being a SERVER eleswhere in the network.
Which means each time you change from S30 standalone to S30 as PLAYER the Roon Server changes from the S30 (standalone) to whatever you are using when in PLAYER mode (external).
Ensure you are logged into the correct Roon Server.

Dear Mark, Thanks you very much for your response. yes the roon Server runs on a S40 in the living room ( with an S60 + S30). There with an external Dac, Here was never an issue.
With the additional S30 in the bed room, I was able to use the Squeeze Player + analoge Output as well as, after configuration the S30, Squeeze + the Mojo2 using the USB Connection. Now, I can still configure the S30 with the Combination Squeeze + analoge Output, but this Combination ist Not shown in Roon anymore (whereas the USB + Mojo2 works and I can play). Just the S30 configuration: Roon Player + analoge Output works now. It is Not bothering much, but I wonder If the Mojo2 is/was Not a good Idea, or the Back and forth switching between the Settings.

P. S. I always have the 30S Just as Player ( at least what I See in the Panel)
