Same here. I compared I2S (AQ Firebird) with USB (JCAT Signature) & I2S won by a mile. I might get a Innuos PhoenixUSB Reclocker as a loaner to see what happens then.

I’m waiting for an Audioquest Dragon HDMI cable to arrive. It will replace the Firebird
feeding the Tambaqui. I expect the Dragon will give a similar SQ lift as Diamond to Firebird did. I’ll report my findings next week.

My K50 is 2 years old but the HDMI or any of the other SPDIF outputs had been used.
