I found a new program or “app” that works wonderfully well to generate playlists and discover new artists, much more effectively than the Qobuz “radio” feature, or Squeeze’s “don’t stop the music” plug in. I didn’t find Roon’s discovery much better. A different algorithm is used, read the details from the website, but trust me, it works much better than what we have all been using!
It is not a new external app you need to use, it is really easy and uses just a token and the playlist appears in your Qobuz or Tidal (or more) account, editable just like you made it yourself, but with loads of wonderful new previously unknown music.
Free trial to try a few playlists, but I imagine the majority will be like me and after a couple of playlists you will consider the $30 lifetime price easily worth the price of admission, as I have discovered several wonderful new artists I never knew existed. I consider to have already got my $30 worth after the first day!
He recently made a youtube video demonstrating how to use it, click on “see it in action”. It is a very professional looking well done app, and the owner/developer promises it will only get better as time goes on.
