Like a lot of us, it seems, I’ve had issues over the years re not being able to see or find my Antipodes players after internet outages, power failures, updates etc.
I now have a mental list of things to do which may help others.
They are not in any particular order and sometimes an S30 reset solves the issue. If not, I try the others until the problem is solved
Feel free to comment and add anything else you’ve found that can help .
- Reset S30
- Reset router and any ethernet switches in the chain.
- Update or restart the Roon Remote app on my iPad - important after an Antipodes update. Sometimes deleting and reloading the app could be required.
- Go to My Antipodes on my 'phone and restart Roon Server and/or Squeeze Player.
- Turn on the DAC. I leave my DAC turned on but it goes to standby after a power outage. You’d be surprised how easy that is to forget.
