Waiting for your Roon Server...

DearSupport Team,

I am experiencing a recurring issue when using Roon on my Antipodes K50 .

The problem occurs as follows:
When I start music playback in the Roon app, everything works fine initially. However, if I close the Roon app on my smartphone and reopen it again after some time, the Roon app can no longer find the Roon Server on the K50.

At this point, the only way to restore functionality is to open the MyAntipodes app and manually restart the Roon Server. After restarting the server, Roon works normally again until the app is closed and reopened later.

This behavior is quite inconvenient and feels like a software-related issue rather than expected behavior. The Roon Server should remain discoverable even after the Roon app has been closed for a while.

Could you please investigate this issue or advise if there is a known fix, setting, or upcoming software update that addresses this behavior?

Thank you very much for your support.

Kind regards,
Dag

There could be a number of factors at play here, obviously what you experience is not normal.

Potentially remote app or network issues.

A few things you should try, completley uninstall the Roon app from your remote device, delete cache, delete data, uninstall, then re-install.

Check your network, re-start all switches and router.

If you still experience issues after that, reach out for a support session:
