Wireless client for K50

Hi all,

I have moved into a new home that does not have a wired ethernet connection in the room my system will be housed in. I am curious if anyone has explored any of the wireless client devices available on market? Or has thoughts on how to network enable the K50 without a wired connection in the room?

Thanks!!!

Sell the home! Just kidding. A wireless bridge should do the job, but find one that supports 5 GHz and configure it to use that frequency as there will be less interference.

Something like this or one of their other models: Amazon.com: BrosTrend WiFi 6 AX3000 WiFi to Ethernet Adapter with RJ45 Gigabit Port, Dual Band Wireless Bridge for PC, Smart TV, Xbox, PlayStation, Printer, Blu-Ray Player, DVR etc. WiFi to Wired Ethernet Adapter : Electronics

I ran a 20 metre CAT 6 cable under the house from my modem and then on the floor around the edges of the walls of the concrete slab room my hi-fi is in. Works perfectly.

I have mesh wi-fi (basically you can have as many wi-fi access points (nodes) as you like with a single ID). The TP-Link units I use have ethernet sockets so easy to hard-wire your K50 to a rock solid wi-fi connection.

That gets you sound, to get music power the node with a low noise power supply, ground it to a grounding box and choose your ethernet cable with care. PS and grounding on the router help too.

I am currently using the BrosTrend from Amazon with good results.
