AMSv4.4 Released

Mark. Understood re the LEDs, maybe add a second beep to indicate the reboot has concluded successfully?

I’m still experiencing this problem since June… iPeng does not detect EX as player and I will need to wait/linger for detection. It will still be detected in the end. This has never happened to versions before AMSv4.4. Through a lot of experimentation, after both CX / EX are powered up, I need to first enter the CX setup page to “refresh” the preset. Then I open up iPeng app and straightaway the EX is detected. I will continue to monitor this and report back.

Are the CX and EX connected directly to one another?
Usni a CX+EX combo all management of the combo is undertaken from the EX Dashboard entering the CX Dashboard should not be required.
Do you have CX set as source in the EX?

Hello Mark,

The CX EX combo is connected via a switch. But the hardware has not changed in my system… I’m now resigned to the fact of having to wait 5-10min for the EX to show up as player in the iPeng app each time I power up the units. Not too long a time but it can be frustrating.

@shsoh The easy answer is to leave them powered up. I never switch my Oladra off.

@NickBacon has it nailed :sunglasses:
However iPeng is working via wifi over your network, with your IP addresses being allocated via the DNS in the router, sooooo, assuming you go to the Solution Dashboard every time you restart, and if the CX and EX are showing in the Solution Dashboard, and hitting the PLAY button for Squeeze in the Solution Dashboard launches Squeeze without issue then issue resides elsewhere not in the Antipodes.
Can you advise if Squeeze is launchable via the PLAY button.

Hi Mark,

Yes squeeze can launch when I click the Play button. However iPeng still cannot detect the EX most of the time.

Today I switch on the other EX (as a server still on the 4.3.1 I think) in my secondary setup and this EX is detected together with the SOtM streamer. So what does this mean?

Next I will switch the EX over and see what happens next.

Update: After swopping the EX (v4.3.1), this device is instantly detected by iPeng.

Perhaps reach out to the iPeng developer.
As the devices are readily available on the network and launchable via the Solution Dashboard.
Is the switch and network setup exactly the same in both setups, is the switch a managed switch, have you rebooted the network, are you using the CX as server in both setups, there are so many variables it is impossible to diagnose any issues via the forum or via remote tbh as we are talking about a third party remote application that Antipodes has no control over.
