Help! I have a K21 loaded with MPD/Minim. My recently added music is showing in Minim Server (Minim manually refreshed) but isn’t in Jplay. I have to delete Jplay (ios) & reinstall for the music to appear which adds a lengthy cataloguing process through the app. My playlists get deleted & can’t copy over without losing the recently added music again. Surely there’s a way to refresh through the app? Or is there something I’m missing?
I don’t have Jplay so don’t know if it’s still the same but when I trialled it, you had to refresh manually. Probably something to do with their philosophy of keeping chatter to a minimum. Sorry I can’t be more specific but I think you just need to find the manual refresh action.

Hello @GavinAKL and welcome to the group. I am glad you have managed to get your new content to sync and be recognized by Jplay. I cannot! For me this is a new issue that arose within the past month. Jplay is excellent in recognizing newly favored (liked) albums from Qobuz but cannot sync newly purchased (ripped or downloaded albums) that reside on my local SSD. I have NO SUCH PROBLEM with Roon or Squeeze.
I have been going back and forth with Marcin from Jplay who has tried to help but is short on specifics and (apparently, I think) I must have a MinimServer on my Mac where I can provide him settings (as opposed to the Settings menu within the app). But I never once was directed to install any such server or software apart from simply downloading the app,
What am I missing here bc I never installed ANYTHING on my Mac and presumed the Minim server was handled by the Antipodes K41 server somehow? In other words, I never went to lengths to download the MinimServer. Marcin cannot help me resolve the issue unless I provide him a screenshot form the server itself, a copy of which I am attaching here.
Can anyone point me in the right direction here as I hate to waste the man’s time bc clearly I am missing something. I know very well that each device must be updated or refreshed in order to get current but neither of my 2 iPads OR my Mac (all used with the app installed & used as a remote control) are updating my local library!

You shouldn’t have to install anything on your Mac. What you might need to do though is purchase a MinimServer license as this might provide access to the screen that you can’t access off your Antipodes presently. My memory is fuzzy on this stuff though. Maybe confirm this by shooting a message to the MinimServer developer using the form on their website.
Thanks @kennyb123 I actually just went into the K41 server settings and hit what appeared to be a link and it took me to a website where it recognized my device and pointed me to “Update.” which I did and now my newly purchased files are seen on the Jplay local library.
In any case, now all good!

You have it sorted, for future reference for others, MinimServer needs to be launched from the server side:
Once this is done, read the about, click dont show again and OK:
Server Status, rescan can be performed here:
