I’d like to upgrade my 2TB SSD to a larger capacity (4TB) SSD and am looking for a simple way to achieve this without having to copy my music files via Mac/PC first.
Is it possible to just clone the 2TB drive onto the 4TB drive, or will the additional capacity (of the 4TB SSD) not be made available, as far as Antipodes K22 is concerned?
With mac what I did was use finder to copy the folder containing music in the storage folder, I just dragged it on the desktop, and removed the drive, put the new one in, initialized it by going to manage discs, and then dragged the folder back into the new drive.
And if you have a filter in the path to your server that restricts the flow of the data, like 100 MB/s with the EtherRegen, remove it first to speed things up. I keep the old drive as a backup.
