So you have fully exited, shut down, turned off the iPad, gone to the Solution Dashboard selected the Roon Auto preset, and restarted Roon server, and still no connection.
On the iPad can you navigate to myantipodes and see your servers?
Do you have a computer that sees the core and acts as a remote?

Yes, I did. I see the antipode in the file system of my Mac, not on the iPad.

Seeing the Antipodes in the File System is not the same as being able to manage from myantipodes.
On the MAC go to our website Antipodes.audio then select myantipodes, do you see your servers here?
If so, select the Roon Auto preset in the Solution Dashboard and launch Roon on the MAC does this work?

After pressing play in the solutions dashboard, it opens a browser page (Iā€™m using an iPad)but the page is just blank. Sometimes there is an error message that it cannot connect to the server but not always.

From a Roon perspective, your suggestion to toggle squeeze in the settings solved it in Roon.

So just trying to get squeeze/squeeze to work now.

What browser are you using?
Chrome?

The toggling of the Squeeze button in Settings/Setup is a must for users wishing to use Roon Server with Squeezelite.

Using Chrome is the same, error is: this site canā€™t be reached. I had an issue before with ports 9000 vs 9001 but have also tried changing that to no effect.

Hmmmm, as a tester, do you have Roon Server enabled, if so disable Roon Server and then restart Squeeze server, then try again with the PLAY button.
Otherwise make an appointment for remote access support hereā€¦

i have it disabled, and the DSD plugin enabled. Am i right that in Roon+SQ mode there is no way to access the player settings (I can only do it now in SQ+SQ mode from the material skin ā†’ player settings)

Correct on Roon+Squeeze.
On the Re-Clocker the MAX output over AES or SPDIF is DOP to DSD64
If you want more than that you will need to move to USB.
I should of mentioned that earlier :nerd_face:

my point is that not even DSD64 works now! i also have the same issue with Roon+Roon on the EXā€¦ something has gone wrong during the update

Nothing to do with the update at all, impossible for the update to do what you say.
There is another reason, my money is on C3P0 but Iā€™ve been wrong before.
Sounds like your Squeeze settings are out of whack, have you uninstalled Squeeze?

I disabled Roon and it does now work, although, it takes quite sometime to detect the change. At first, it appeared that it hadnā€™t worked, but when I checked half an hour later it had detected it.
