Yes, Roon is grabbing the port as I suspected.

Can I ask what your router is?

Iām using a BT Home Hub and a BT wifi Disc. The K30 is connected by Ethernet to the disc.
I guess there is no way if wiring directly to the main router rather than the Disc, you may find a performance increase.
I knew that was coming 
I have hard wired the K30 directly as an experiment, but there was no discernible difference. Believe me, if there was Iād be on it!
The disc has a low noise iFi power supply and hardwire to the disc sounds better than Wi-Fi.
Having said that, it was some time ago and I have ātunedā quite a bit since. Maybe Iāll try again sometimeā¦
I am surprised no one has mentioned you have to select a different core when the new software is installed
Also, noticed a glitch āperhapsā your system has to be on the network before you boot the Antipodes. So, if your switch is still booting for example a Melco S100 you may encounter problems @MarkCole any feedback on this issue?
Also, Mark still trying to ground the Oladra any ideas? I have now answer from the dealer or Antipodesā¦still waiting
Reinstalled both Squeeze and Roon and restored.

With Roon server: mostly OK apart from that DSD 256 downsampling to PCM results in stuttering. I would swear this was working before (but maybe last time I checked was with Roon 1.8ā¦)

still cannot play DSD128 in Squeeze server + Player. Player crashes. C3P0 inactive. DSD set to DoP.
Iām talking about app performance not sound quality.
But if it works for you then brilliant.

What is your CPU doing while this is stuttering is happening?
What connection are you using to the DAC?

Love the system health view. Running roon server, hqplayer and 4 streams averaging 20% cpu use and 31C on my K30. Lots of horsepower left.

I cannot use the new 4.0 software because my Bitdefender anti-virus program blocks it. I booked Antipodes help yesterday, and that is what I was told. This never happen before with a change in software. I am very unhappy ! Welcome to AMSv4 !
Bitdefender is so good it even has a page dedicated to āHow to stop Bitdefender Web Protection from blocking a safe websiteā
A quick internet search would net you many results of people experiencing the same issue with Bitdefender.
Likewise the fix.
Not an Antipodes issue.
I donāt see how you can lay this at the feet of AMSv4. Bitdefender is being too aggressive. Itās treating safe software as if it is unsafe. This is what we refer to as a false positive.
You will have to somehow let Bitdefender know that it can trust what AMS4 needs to do. I would need more details on whatās being blocked to help point you in the direction of getting it resolved.
Are you running Bitdefender or a Windows PC? Are you running just their anti-virus software or are you also running their VPN?
Ah I see you posted while I was typing away. Yeah thatās the right approach to getting this sorted out.

Question regarding my K40 and AMSv4. At the Solution and Player Dashboards, Squeeze is showing as an active player app. Since the K40 is server only, I am curious as to why I am seeing any active player app. Squeeze Server also seems to be enabled by default on the Server Dashboard, but I do not see any way to disable it if I donāt want it running in the background. I would appreciate any insight as I navigate through the GUI. Thank you.
Interesting, you will need to set the player app to none to move the K40 to server only.
